A museum about the traditional candy of Bernal.
The museum offers history and tradition of the candies of the region, as well as elaboration processes. The visitors learn how 30 years ago, don Julio Rodríguez, with goat milk, amaranth and sesame, made the custard. This made possible other varieties of candies such as ates, wafers, milk and water gums and macarons. In the location there is a typical mexican kitchen. In the second part of the tour, there is a talk about the fusion of pre hispanic and european cuisine. Also, the visitor can learn about the recipes of the nuns and of the candies from Africa and the Caribbean.
The tour takes about 30 minutes.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 h to 18 h.
