Come and enjoy a coffee in front of the Temple of the Holy Cross
This square commemorates those who helped to form the mythical city of Santiago de Querétaro. It was built in 1981, first it was inaugurated where the Market of the Cross is and was known as "La Placita".
It is located in Manuel Acuña street, in front of the Temple of La Cruz. This zone is known as the Cerro del Sangremal, in this place, 25 of July of 1531 was founded Querétaro. For this reason, this square was created on the 450th anniversary, erecting the statues of Don Fernando de Tapia (Conín), Don Nicolas de San Luis Montañez, Fray Jacobo Daciano and Don Juan Sánchez de Alaníz.
