In the midst of tastings, cultural events, tours and the traditional treading of grapes, a party atmosphere is experienced, ideal to spend an excellent weekend. We want you to enjoy them to the fullest! That is why we list 10 basic tips that you should let us pass, if you are going to attend any of them.
1.- Keep an eye on pre-sale prices.
Some vineyards open their sale of tickets at a lower cost, months before the day of the event, so we suggest you be on the lookout to know the exact dates.
2.- If you go for the first time, take a guided tour
Be amazed by the stories of the vineyards told by the protagonists of each place. Talk with the winemaker or the guides, your perception will make you enjoy your glass of wine even more.
3.- Tasting more than one variety of wine
With this tip, we do not pretend to miss the glasses, but we suggest you try at least 3 varieties of local wine.
4.-Drink natural water between each cup
We recommend you to drink natural water between each glass, this will prevent you from dehydrating. Avoid drinks with sugar.
5.- Arrive early when stepping grapes
Doing the treading of grapes is an experience that you should not miss, however we suggest you arrive early, since the rows are always very long.
6.- Investigate the dress code
We suggest you to investigate beforehand if it is thematic and above all to wear comfortable clothes by the sun and closed shoes, since most of the vineyards have pasty areas and dirt.
7.-Take block and hat
Use sunscreen or accessories that cover you from the sun. Most of the vineyards have common outdoor areas and being exposed to the sun is the most common.
8. Save your memory cup
At each harvest, with your access ticket, they give you a commemorative cup of the event. Do not lose it! It will always be a good memory to keep it.
9. Do not overdo your consumption
Wine is to be enjoyed, so we suggest you assign a driver and be always fed. Beware!
