These are some of the recommendations for the month of September in Querétaro:
CLOSE SEASON OF VINTAGES
For this month of September the State of Querétaro has several offers for all types of visitors. In the Wine Region, the harvest season closes this month. In Ezequiel Montes, the Viticultural House of Cote, celebrates on Saturday 7; On Saturday 14, the harvest parties will be in Vinícola San Patricio, in the municipality of Tequisquiapan, and in Ezequiel Montes, Viñedos Azteca makes a harvest on the occasion of the national holidays for two days. For the last weekend, on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29, the Association of Wine Growers of Querétaro makes its 1st. Wine Festival in the city of Querétaro, with a sample of the various labels of all Queretan wine producing houses in the Center for the Arts of Querétaro.
BARBACOA AND EL PULQUE FAIR 2019
From Wednesday 18 to Sunday 22 September, the Barbecue and Pulque Ferries in Boyé, municipality of Cadereyta, receives thousands of visitors in the Plaza de la Barbacoa, to become one of the most important gastronomic events in the state, with more than 30 pulque producers and more than 70 different barbecue chefs.
ROUTE OF WORSHIP
For religious tourism, the municipality of Corregidora promotes a tour of the most important religious sites of the demarcation. The tour can be hired in a tram that begins by visiting the El Cerrito Archaeological Zone, commonly known as the El Pueblito Pyramid, which has an interesting site museum. The tour passes through the Parish of San Francisco and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of El Pueblito, in the municipal seat, and ends at the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Schoenstatt, in the Los Olvera neighborhood, a few minutes away.
No less important are the national holidays in all the municipal headwaters of the state, especially that of the city of Querétaro, where thousands of people attend the Historic Center where Mexican food stalls are opened and stages with various artists who liven up with live music before and after the commemorative shout of independence by the Governor of the State or mayors in each of the municipalities.
