Quinta Fernando Schmoll greenhouse is the most important greenhouse of cacti and other succulents of America. It was founded in 1920 by the painter Ferdinand Schmoll and his wife, the biologist Carolina Wagner.
It has more than four thousand types of cacti from all over the continent and some specimens even brought from Africa. It is possible to find some of the most attractive plants such as Mexican, Argentine and Peruvian old men, various varieties of biznagas, African and Mexican alders, as well as several types of nopales and magueyes.
